When deciding on a shower configuration, it is important to note whether your plumbing will be concealed inside the wall or visible against the tiling. Exposed shower mixers are designed for plumbing to be visible against the wall.
Thermostatic shower mixers enable greater control of the temperature ensuring a constant and safe water temperature, preventing scalding. This is particularly useful for those with solar geysers that reach very high temperatures, for the elderly and young children.
The Britannia Collection is manufactured in Italy, specifically for Victorian Bathrooms’ requirements. Built on a foundation of integrity, quality and passion this range meets the needs of consumers seeking a quality product in the classic style, which is timeless in appeal, at a reasonable price.
Including modern technologies such as ceramic disc quarter-turn mechanisms the Britannia collection is available with either traditional tap heads or white levers and is imported into South Africa in the chrome finish. Black indices (Hot/Cold) and Black levers are available as well. Customised bespoke finishes such as polished, brushed and aged brass, or polished and brushed nickel, as well as powder coated black, are available on special request.

Designed for an exposed plumbing installation.Â
Top lever controls water flow whilst the cross handle tap head operates the temperature.
The shower mixer’s temperature is factory set to a maximum of 45ºC.
The elbows are supplied with inlet filters as well as flow reducers.
To be used with a balanced water pressure between 100 – 400 Kpa.
Cleaning
Clean with warm water, a mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth.
Avoid cleaners containing abrasive materials.
When situated close to the sea, ensure that the chrome is cleaned regularly to remove salt residue.
