PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Can baths be installed outdoors?

All baths are designed for internal installation. However, from time to time, we are asked whether our baths can be installed outside (for example at a game lodge).  From experience we have found that, as long as there is at least partial protection from the elements, the Cast Acrylic range of baths has aged well externally. Please note that our normal 20 year guarantee on Cast Acrylic baths falls away for external use and will only be covered by our 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Do you hold stock of spares?

Yes, definitely. Victorian Bathrooms stands by their products and ensures that we hold stock of the more regularly requested spares to assist their clients. Should anything unusual be required, this will be obtained from our suppliers.

What gap should I leave between metro tiles?

This depends on the desired effect one wishes to achieve.

Flat Metro tiles can appear more industrial when spaced 4 or 5mm apart especially if a grey grout is used.

Bevelled Metro tiles are usually placed closer together (maybe a 2mm gap) and with the addition of white grout a more textural finish is obtained.

However, the final choice is yours – there is no right or wrong.

What is the guarantee on your goods?

All Victorian Bathrooms products are covered by our 2 year Warranty against manufacturing defects, and any additional warranty is dependent on the manufacturer. Please read more under Terms & Conditions.

Do You Have Product specifications?

We attempt to provide diagrams and dimensions for most of our products. Where natural materials are involved in the manufacture of our bathroomware, we cannot guarantee these dimensions as they may vary slightly. This also applies to our bespoke baths which can differ from product to product. The dimensions of each product is listed on the website and where possible there are pdf. downloads available for specifications and installation instructions.

Can I order and pay online?

Yes, we make use of a Netcash payment gateway that accepts payment via Card, Instant EFT and Scan to Pay.

Do The Prices Include VAT?

All items indicated on this website include 15% value added tax.

Do you offer free delivery?

At present all online orders incur a delivery fee which is based on the parcel size/weight and delivery address.
