Metal Polish – Instructions
1. Do not use on Brushed Stainless Steel or Anodised Aluminium.
2. Do not use on hot surfaces.
3. The surface should be dry and free from loose dirt before polishing. Apply a small amount of Metal Polish to a coarse cloth and rub vigorously with a circular motion.
4. If the surface is severely oxidised and still looking dull, you will notice that the cloth becomes black and dirty.
5. Repeat the polishing process using a clean part of the cloth. This process can be repeated several times before the surface begins to shine.
6. Once the surface begins to shine, use a soft cloth (Micro Fibre cloth or similar) and repeat the polishing process until the desired effect.
7. Buff with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
8. If uncertain about the compatibility of the product, kindly check by applying in a concealed area first.
Precaution: Keep away from children.

One can refer to our bespoke brass and nickel finishes as ‘living finishes’ that develop a natural patina over time, changing as they react with the environment. Aging will occur organically on these raw, handcrafted products offering a certain appeal and charm. It is therefore important to note that no two items will be identical and each will age in their own way.
The majority of taps are imported into South Africa in the chrome finish and re-engineered by hand locally, giving them their unique and individual characteristics. Black powder coating on the Britannia tapware range is produced in Italy.
We refinish products to order, and as these are no longer stock items, they may not be returned or exchanged.
A signed form will be required per special finish order and will help us to maintain our commitment to delivering the highest quality products tailored to your specifications.
Consideration must be taken when ordering that the item you receive may not be identical to what was seen online or on our printed documentation as each item is unique and computer pixels/print resolutions differ.
