The Britannia Collection – a timeless range of tapware and showers that evokes a sense of comfort, conjuring up memories of one’s childhood.
A style that has been with us for decades. A refined design that has evolved to be the best it can be – practical and elegant. Being well designed and affordably priced, this collection meets every need for traditional and modern classic interiors.
Victorian Bathrooms’ reputation is built on a foundation of integrity, quality and passion. Since 1989 we have worked closely with our Italian tap manufacturer to create a vast collection specifically for the South African consumer. Made from the finest brass, the Britannia Collection is imported into South Africa in the chrome finish but customised bespoke finishes are available on request (with an extended delivery time). In addition, the majority of the items (especially the components that are built into the wall) are manufactured from DZR brass, meeting the requirements of the local authorities.
The Britannia Collection is built to last – turning a simple task into a luxury experience. And with a comprehensive spares department offering full service and spares back-up, the longevity of this range will last for many years to come.
The Britannia Collection has the option of tap heads or levers.
One can refer to our bespoke brass and nickel finishes as ‘living finishes’ that develop a natural patina over time, changing as they react with the environment. Aging will occur organically on these raw, handcrafted products offering a certain appeal and charm. It is therefore important to note that no two items will be identical and each will age in their own way.
The majority of taps are imported into South Africa in the chrome finish and re-engineered by hand locally, giving them their unique and individual characteristics. Black powder coating on the Britannia tapware range is produced in Italy.
We refinish products to order, and as these are no longer stock items, they may not be returned or exchanged.
A signed form will be required per special finish order and will help us to maintain our commitment to delivering the highest quality products tailored to your specifications.
