The electric heating kits for the Burlington heated towel rails are IP44 rated and therefore the heated towel rails can be installed in Zone 2 (i.e. next to the bath or shower).
Please note that a regulator is included in the cost of the heated towel rail as it is required to control the temperature of the rail.

Installation Instructions
Supplied with an IP44 rated electric heating kit and regulator.
Installation advice
The IP44 rated electric heating kits enable the heated towel rails to be installed within Zone 2 (next to the bath or shower) however the connection box must be outside of Zone 2 (more than 600mm from the bath or shower).
Victorian Bathrooms recommends the installation of a thermostat / regulator and has included one in the total price of the rail.
A regulator will be able to reduce the heat in the rail, should this be required, and to indicate that the rail is switched on. This regulator / indicator light switch should be installed outside the bathroom.Â
Cleaning
The Burlington Trafalgar heated towel rail is made from steel so please be sure to not clean with corrosive or scouring cleaning agents. Clean with warm water, a mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid cleaners containing abrasive materials. When situated close to the sea, ensure that the metal is cleaned regularly to remove salt residue.
