All baths are designed for internal installation. However, from time to time, we are asked whether our baths can be installed outside (for example at a game lodge). From experience we have found that, as long as there is at least partial protection from the elements, the Cast Acrylic range of baths has aged well externally. Please note that our normal 20 year guarantee on Cast Acrylic baths falls away for external use and will only be covered by our 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Our bathroom ware is designed for internal use and are guaranteed against manufacturing defects and not on their longevity when used outside in harsh elements. We feel confident that our products will withstand a reasonable length of time, however this depends on how much protection they have from wind, sand and sun. So there is no guarantee, however we feel confident they will last as long or longer than products from other suppliers.
Yes, definitely. Victorian Bathrooms stands by their products and ensures that we hold stock of the more regularly requested spares to assist their clients. Should anything unusual be required, this will be obtained from our suppliers..
We attempt to provide diagrams and dimensions for most of our products. Where natural materials are involved in the manufacture of our bathroomware, we cannot guarantee these dimensions as they may vary slightly. This also applies to our bespoke baths which can differ from product to product. The dimensions of each product is listed on the website and where possible there are pdf. downloads available for specifications and installation instructions.
This depends on the desired effect one wishes to achieve.
Flat Metro tiles can appear more industrial when spaced 4 or 5mm apart especially if a grey grout is used.
Bevelled Metro tiles are usually placed closer together (maybe a 2mm gap) and with the addition of white grout a more textural finish is obtained.
However, the final choice is yours – there is no right or wrong.

Bath & Large Mirror Collection: Collection only available in Cape Town. If collected by a freight company, additional crating charges will apply and the cost thereof is determined by the delivery address (local or international). In this case, please let us know so that we can quote the additional costs and arrange crating: info@victorianbathrooms.co.za.
