Chalfont basin & blue vanity, 550mm

A way of effortlessly adding elegant practicality into the bathroom is through vanity units; a combination of basins with furniture for additional storage space.

The Chalfont units are a seamless blend of classic and contemporary styles, uniting extraordinary eras of design to instill newfound comfort and creating design freedom with a look that lasts.  High quality paint finishes are achieved with 5 layers of paint comprising of a lacquered top coat and 3 layers of primer featuring UV stabilization to minimise colour fading from exposure to sunlight.

This Chalfont 550mm vanity has a matt blue finish with gold legs and drawer knob.  It has a spacious soft-closing single drawer unit.

The vanity is available in bespoke options on special request:
Vanity colour options -  Blue, Black or Grey
Leg finish options -  Same colour as vanity, Chrome, Nickel or Gold
Knob finish options - Chrome, Nickel or Gold

Fully assembled vanity is made from MDF engineered wood, painted with a lacquered top coat and 3 layers of primer featuring UV stabilization to minimize colour fading from exposure to sunlight.
The natural stone, roll top basin has an overflow. Natural stone being a natural product there may be very slight variations in the finish in certain light conditions. This adds to the uniqueness of basin with each one having its own individual character.
Tap holes can be drilled making it available with 1, 2 or 3 tap holes.

Please note that basin taps, basin waste and bottle trap are all to be purchased separately. This basin has an overflow and will require a slotted waste (purchased separately)

Cleaning
The natural stone is porous like marble certain types of cleaners and bath oils may stain the natural stone and therefore is a characteristic of the material. Should you decide to use such products we strongly recommend the product is fully cleaned and rinsed after use as these types of stains are not covered within the manufacturer’s warranty'.

Cosmetic repairs to your Natural Stone basin
Should you be unfortunate enough to suffer cosmetic damage to your basin during installation oraccidentally at any time, these can usually be rectified quite easily by using a fine grade abrasive waterproof paper. Lightly rub the affected area by keeping the area treated to a minimum until the mark is removed, then polish a neutral car colour restorer or a household metal polish to restore the lustre. Other marks on your basin both internally or externally can generally be removed with a non abrasive bathroom cleaner or mild detergent. Should this not be the case then please revert to colour restorer or household metal polish.

Ongoing Care Of Your Basin
Use only non abrasive cleaners as abrasives over a period of time will remove the lustre from your basin.

Warning
Never use cleaners/bleach products specifically manufactured for WC bowl cleaning as they may damage your basin. In addition to these we strongly recommend that applying hair colouring is also not used over the basin as it may de-colour the natural stone.
