Black Britannia stop taps & spout

Britannia stop taps with traditional cross handles and a wall mounted spout, suitable at a basin or bath. Now available in a powder-coated black finish, this item is made upon order and a lead time will incur.

The Britannia Collection is manufactured in Italy, specifically for Victorian Bathrooms’ requirements. Built on a foundation of integrity, quality and passion this range meets the needs of consumers seeking a quality product in the classic style, which is timeless in appeal, at a reasonable price.

Including modern technologies such as ceramic disc quarter-turn mechanisms the Britannia collection is available with either traditional tap heads or white levers and is imported into South Africa in the chrome finish. Black indices (Hot/Cold) and Black levers are available as well. Customised bespoke finishes such as polished, brushed and aged brass, or polished and brushed nickel, as well as powder coated black, are available on special request.

The Britannia Collection is built to last. To this end Victorian Bathrooms offers full spares back-up.

The Britannia stop tap is supplied with a sliding flange for the ease of installation.

Created from solid brass, the Britannia Collection is made with modern mechanisms where all tap heads make use of a quarter turn movement through internal ceramic discs.

Plumbing
Please note that the spout thread is separate to the spout, allowing for an easy and secure installation.
The spout is fitted with a 6 litre per minute aerator.

Cleaning
As with any special finish, extra care must be taken during installation and daily use. Normally, a damp soft cloth is all it takes to clean your fittings however if it is not sufficient, mix a solution of warm, soapy water with the cloth. Do not use anything stronger than a non-abrasive household cleaner (e.g. Sunlight Liquid). Never clean with abrasive solutions (e.g. Handy Andy) as these can actually damage the finish.
