HAND MADE FOR COMFORT

For the past three decades Victorian Bathrooms has worked closely with South African bath manufacturers to design luxury freestanding baths to meet the high standards expected by designers and architects. Exclusive to Victorian Bathrooms and custom made by hand, each bath is a ‘one of a kind’ creation. The external surface of the baths, whilst normally white, can be hand finished according to the clients’ requirements, either with unique, high quality paint finishes, enhancing the shape and form of the bath, or with metals, with their natural patina of age.

COMPOSITION

The interior of the bath is manufactured from cast acrylic which is a combination of smooth, non-porous, high gloss acrylic (providing a long lasting, shiny and durable surface) supported and reinforced by a strong casting of mineral composite resin. Baths manufactured using this combination are warm to the touch and highly effective at retaining the heat of the bathwater, due to their 20mm thickness. The baths will neither stain nor discolour and scratches that may occur can be removed. All our baths carry a 20 year warranty against the unlikely occurrence of manufacturing defects.

Polished aluminium feet

A very popular option when choosing free standing bath finishes is to go with aluminium feet. This option is available with all foot designs and when combined with a special paint finish on the outside of the bath, will add a glamorous flair to the bathroom. This finish will incur an extra charge, please enquire for details.

Painted finishes

The exterior of cast acrylic baths can be personalised with your own unique colour by selecting a code from Plascon’s diverse colour chart. We will match our formulation of durable paint to your chosen swatch.

Paint styles available:
Our bespoke paint can be applied in high gloss, matt or metallic finishes.

Handcrafted metal finishes

These one-of-a-kind creations are available in lead, brass and copper skirts, either polished or aged ~ no two are ever identical. They have what is known as a ‘living finish’, which will develop naturally and age with time, creating a unique patina.
